I thought about this over a year ago...and I have a top "Oasis" change spot for ya...Zeehan in Tasmania...200 days of rain a year. I went there recently and the gold course, which was empty on Saturday Morning...was absolutely fantastic..lush green ,rolling fairways...it was like walking on pillows...I wish I could buy that golf course..bloody brilliant and very very cheap, especially land.

Any predictions when it's going to stop raining here? It's so bloody depressing.

To quote John O'Brien:

And every creek a banker ran,
And dams filled overtop;

And stop it did, in God's good time;
And spring came in to fold
A mantle o'er the hills sublime
Of green and pink and gold.


And days went by on dancing feet,
