I made a private bid (signed contract) on a property without specifying a time limit on the offer. It now seems that either the vendors or REA are sitting on it.
I've emailed the agent mentioning that I would like to add an expiry clause to my offer if no response is received by 4pm Friday.
Is this adequate enough? What other steps do I need to take to ensure that I’m not indefinitely waiting?
