"Open" Pavers

:p Help! Does anyone know the name of the small pavers that you can lay to form a solid base for grass/whatever to grow through? You know, the ones that can be used for hardstands, etc, but give a 'green' impression. And the manufacturer/supplier would be handy too! Thanks!

Are you talking about the concrete ones or the pretty-much-invisible plastic ones?

Edit: I just remembered - the plastic ones are called "grasspave". A search on google will find lots about them. They seem to be a US invention.
 
I've done a quick bit of research. The common names are:

Lattice pavers
Concrete grid pavers
Open design pavers

They might be considered part of the class of pavers known as "porous" pavers which permit water to pass through them (in one way or another).
