Opportunity to meet Japanese bank manager

Recently my friend say refer me to this article:
http://www.news.com.au/money/bankin...home-loan-market/story-e6frfmcr-1226250893565

And ask me if he had a chance to meet with one of the Japanese bank manager, what are the suggestions or questions on the average australian will benefit ?

Please ignore all the -ve side for now (e.g. Japanese will conquer our land and then WWIII)

In my humble opinion, as long as they provided a consistent interest rate to the RBA and lower than major banks... it would help the average family.

What do you plan to do that other lenders currently don't do?

Are you planning to compete mainly on price or on both policy and price?

Will you open branches, use brokers or both?

Who or what is stopping you from doing this right now?

BTW I don't know about used underwear but did you know that they have street vending machines in Japan that dispense beer 24 hours a day? Now that's what I call a progressive society.
