Owner Builder Courses

I am looking to develop some of my properties and was considering completing an owner builder course. I have completed a number of rennovations on properties myself, so have a fair idea on what to do, but thought it may be worthwhile.

Improve my knowledge and skills. The only course i can find running is one through TAFE.

Can anyone offer any suggestions/recommendations.

Hi Bundy;
We are in NSW and recently got an owner builders licence.Here you can only do one project in a five year period.We had three options recognized by the department of fair trading
1 thru tafe 1300 131499 $160
2 home buildlng centre 83030525 1 day $180, 2 day $295
www.buildingcentre.com.au
3 australian owner builders pty ltd 1800 822220 $130
correspondance course.This is the option we took.
I think with the other courses if you were going to learn more it would be on the management side of things.

The Sydney Building Information Centre (www.buildingcentre.com.au) regularly runs owner-builder courses & is well worth a visit anyway for some of the ideas on display.

Thanks for your replies. I'l investigate further. I'm on the Gold Coast, any suggetsions for Brisbane/the Gold Coast.
