Floodwise reports that the maximum ground level is 4.3m and the interim flood level was 6.1m

Make sure your important documents are stored on the second level!

Incidentally this is close to the area that might well have been John Oxley's first landing in Brisbane in 1824 (near the former Milton tennis courts) and which Oxley described as a place full of flowing streams and water courses. These natural features assert themselves every time we get one of the once in 100 year events that happen every 20 years or so!
