Hi, our old computer died and took with it the old Adobe Photoshop I used to use to get rid of red eye etc from photos. The system that came with the camera is not very good. So now I'm after a recommendation for a photo edit program for Windows which is user friendly and nothing too heavy. I just want to get rid of red eye, zoom in, trim etc. Nice and simple (and preferably free but I am willing to buy something good).

Try Photoshop Elements 9, does lots of great stuff and it's not the super dear one.
Try gimp, its free and as good as Photoshop.
Maybe be a bit high level for what you want tho.

Thanks all, I have had a play around with the computer and found what DEC was talking about! Wow there is heaps on this computer that I have discovered yet! So far that looks like it will be fine for my purpose at my level.
