Port Augusta - have I missed the boat?

Is it me or does it look like Port Augusta has come off the boil?

What does Port Augusta have going for it as a long term investment ? Looks like the Olympic Dam project has been put on hold for potentially a few more years. Is there still pleanty of other good things planned in the pipeline for the town? Or is its future directly linked to the rise and fall of mining in the area?

Any feedback comments appreciated.
