Posts Appearing Twice

This has happened to me twice today. I am composing a post and by the time i hit 'submit' i get a screen requesting me to log on again. I do this and then hit proceed on the next screen. I then find that my post has been submitted twice. I am not sure why. Any help appreciated.

It has never happened to me.
I am guessing that perhaps your internet security level is set too high.
Have you set up your computer to accept cookies?
Do you know how the check the above?

I had a similar problem with trying to post only to get a message asking me to log on again - check out this post:

Thread #2 by The Y-man gave me my answer. Don't know whether it will fix your problem, but it's worth a try.

It has never happened to me before either. Security level was set to medium which blocks some cockies. Internet access yesterday was through a work firewall so maybe that has caused a problem?

It just happened to me....
now the Q is, how do I delete the duplicte?

It has happened to me (maybe twice in about 5 years) but it does happen.

Re "what can you do" - if your post is recent, you have the option of going back and deleting one of them. After a period (2 hours, 3 hours, not sure) you won't be able to delete, but a Mod will.

Where we (Mods) see a "duplicate", we usually delete the first (on the assumption that the second may have extra info).

Don't sweat it - it happens... No pack-drill if it happens to you

when you log in, make sure the "remember me" box is checked. that should alleviate the problem.
