Property Investment Expo 2005

Hey guys,
The Property Investment Expo starts tomorrow (Apr 15) in Sydney. I have never attended one of these events, so was wondering if it is worth going. Any opinions on the event? There are a few speakers that I wouldn't mind hearing, so will propbably go anyway - but would be interested to hear any opinions from fellow forumites.

Ive been in the past - they are ok

Plenty of spruikers stalls not really that much value - hence I do go anymore.

But as they say - you only need to pick up one new bit of info and it is worthwhile...

We picked up a great solicitor who specialised in property there a few years ago and got discount vouchers on valuations and building inspections that we used from reputable companies.

I am going this year to hear what the Renokings and John from Residex have to say however as suggested there is alot of spruiking and I have to admit the franchising expo next door facinates me more.

It is all about gathering knowledge so what can it hurt. There are free tickets around as well, I think one of the valuers has them on their web site - is it Herron Todd White, anyone?

Not sure about Herron Todd, but Washington Brown sent me the site to print off the free tix. I guess there is no limit on how many you print off
