But I would suggest that the best way to promote your business in this forum is to contribute to the wider community.

People may not respond to "we can do this for you" posts.

But if you can contribute to the forum by helping out with issues to do with, say, property mamagment, then you are not only helping the Somersoft community- you will probably do your own business loads of good.

We use Run in the area. Bit pricey, and according to other members here, very dependent on "who you land" as your manager, but we are happy with them.

Our 2 most popular packages are:

8.8% inc GST management fee, 2 weeks rent plust GST letting fee, $5.50 mail statement fee, $2.75 email statement fee.
or
9.87% plust GST management fee, 5.5% of the annual rent letting fee.
The additional management fee provides our Owners with the protection of vacancy should their property reamin vacant longer than 35 days.

Some of our services include:
No additional costs for renewal of Lease Agreements
Attendance at Body Corporate Meetings
Co-ordination of maintenance
Attendance at VCAT (if necessary)

Hi Greg

I used to work at Run in Elgin Street.. They do seem reasonably switched on and have an awesome computer program to help with the job.. Rob Saro is a good leasing manager (if he is still there).. I used to work at Thomson in Rathdowne Street.. Not sure how they are now, since the owner sold.. Carlton and Melbourne are great areas and provided that you keep your property in market in the peak period (before Uni goes back) you should have no probs letting it out.. Plenty of Hospitals aroun there too..

I know work for myself in Moonee Ponds, so if you are still stuck and can't work out which way to go, give me a bell... Don't stop at one property... Good luck!!
