Purchasing in UK

Howdy all,

Been reading a fair bit of SS in the last 6-12 months and have finally gotten around to posting!

My partner and I are heading O/S next year, likely to live in the UK and I was looking for some resources for purchasing property over there at some stage.

Ive done the google search and through here (not particularly thoroughly mind) and havent found much in detail, so if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Sorry I wasnt specific enough though, I can find info on the market itself, but was more referring to purchasing in the UK as a foreigner?

Anyone have any experience with this, things to look out for that are very different to the market here?
