I vaguely remember posting about this a few years ago - first home buyers (in QLD) are not allowed to rent out a room in the first year to satisfy the stamp duty concession rules.. looks like a few people have been caught out. Caught out when they lodge a bond with the RTA.. cash jobs have been fine
