re; Qualified Builder Internal Wall Requirements

Technically no

However, if you have no idea about it, and cause structural damage, then you could find yourself against it in a big way.
If you have done your due diligence, ie contracted the services of a qualified engineer, who has issued you with a form 15 stating whether the wall was load bearing or partition, and you have employed the services of a qualified electrician and plumber to ensure services have been terminated.
Ensure your Environmental protection is in place (Control dust and noise), and you are confident of what you are doing, then there is no issue in doing the demolition yourself.
In fact, most people find demolition rather therapeutic.

i hope this helps you out, and good luck

I agree with the previous replies - more than likely your biggest problem wont be the wall itself, but the body corporate. Good luck!

I'm not doing any wall demolition, although someone else has.

- Does this really require Body Corp approval though ?

- Surely it's not part of common property, or are load bearing walls considered common property ?

- One neighbour of the adjoining unit, has reported getting red brick coloured water over recent weeks and the renovation works continue.
