What do you mean by refinance an existing loan? Do you mean a top up? A new loan? A product switch?

I have been around this end of the industry for near 14 years now.
Even at the start STG was a classic case of marketing not talking with production.

I've found the valuation process the most tedious especially if they want to do an internal inspection and you have tenants..
Sometimes you can get away with desktop or kerbside if you a lucky, but then you have to hope that the val is what you were expecting and not too conservative.
This process can take anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks. That's been my experience anyway.
