Hi. I am a Sydney Investor or potentially anyway. Does anyone know of a site etc to find the lot size from a plan or lot no. I am looking for Duplex sites so would help me in prelimanary feasability. Thanks for any replies. Mark.

In Qld if you go to Information Queensland - interactive mapping, put in a street address or lot/plan description, bingo, property details appear.
I'm sure other states would have something similar. Also go to the council PD Online sites or any council web site and navigate to the property info pages which should have all the info you need.

i would also recommend local council websites as most councils have an interactive maps system which should give you lot dimensions and sizes, zoning as wel as aerial photos to see where the house is positioned on the block.
It might also be worthwhile calling the council and asking about any potential rezoning in the near future as this info is often not publicly available or available only for a short period of time.
