I'm wondering if anyone can provide advice on the below.
We have a number of investment properties a couple of which are older properties with poor depreciation, but good rental return. While they have good prospects for capital growth they are not great holds from a depreciation and negative gearing POV.
I was wondering if anyone knows if it would be possible to sell these two properties into our SMSF (which would have to be set up), thus still continuing to "own" them while at the same time freeing some additional capital for personal investment in properties that offer greater negative gearing potential.
Hopefully this isn't a completely niave question and any comments appreciated. Obviously we wouldn?t move forward without proper financial advice.
