Sheesh - banks are so frustrating

Why am I not surprised.

The bank have had the application for over 2 months - with constant nagging from the broker - with dribs and drabs from the bank of what documentation they require - with notification that, when the time comes, we'll be after a quick settlement.

Well - advised the bank today that settlement will be in 12 days (after I've sent them yet another raft of paperwork) ... only to be advised back that they can't settle until end of January.

Needless to say the broker was rather "not happy" with them.

Looks like we're going down the cash path. Thank goodness for the LOC against the PPOR.

Things happen as they are meant to ...

What was the reason for going with NAB?

SMSF - rural purchase ... the only one's who would really look at it.

In hindsight have found out that the guy who initially was dealing with application, left with everything in a mess.

Still ... the last straw was when we had to supply a statement outlining the "motivation" for the purchase.

Kinda glad it all fell thru and we're going it alone. The loan from the LOC to the SMSF should be paid out within 6 months and then it's just the SMSF going it alone.

Will then start to diversify again with shares from the income. Sold all the shares to buy.
