Shooting in Dunmore St Croydon Park NSW

Shootings are getting too frequent these days. What's happened to the good old fashioned fist fight?

Are they getting too frequent, or is it more popular in the news? Criminals have been shooting each other since firearms were invented.

CJay: is it more popular in the news?
Yeah but I think it's what you were saying on the other thread - still too many idiots with guns, unfortunately. Seems to be all the wrong people have them in Sydney.
Plenty of trigger-happy red-necks around my area too.

This guy would've done the wrong thing by his dealers, I'd say. Triad.

yeah my memory is of mostly a lot of unrenovated federation houses and the river but it's probably changed a bit now.

Interesting that they're referring to it as 'inner west'.

Wow Croydon Park. I went to school there. Not where I would pick for a shooting to occur.

Was looking at this house earlier this year in Dunmore St.

Croydon Park is normally a pretty good area. Guess this is just a one-off incident.

There was a drug bust a few months back.

I also recall seeing Croydon Park on the Aussie tv show - the force or whatever its called doing a raid in Croydon Park a few years back too.

How do you call then?

INNER WEST: Ashfield, Burwood, Canada Bay, Leichhardt, Strathfield
According to planning.nsw.gov.au

Thanks for the link. Showing my age. But a few decades ago, 'inner west' was Chippendale, Redfern, Glebe, Stanmore. It later extended a little further out: Petersham, Leichhardt and remember someone snorting about how they'd heard Summer Hill being referred to as 'inner west'.

So it now goes out even further and who knows where it will stop? Maybe Parramatta will be inner west in another 10 years.:p
