Steps to register title

For my splitter block in Brisbane council area, I'm finally at the pointy end to getting separate titles. I'm about to submit the items requested by the council in the BCC Approval Package. I assume I pay the contribution fees at that point?

Once the council signs off on the Approval Package, do I then contact the Land Titles Office or is it not this simple? Do I need to appoint a solicitor to do this?

Is there anything in between that I'm missing?

your serveyor can lodge documents for you..i actually prefer them doing it.. as any issues with process they will talk to lodging party only.. and if you don't have knowledge of technical data.. it will just delay the procedures.

after council approves subdivision, you may have to send documents(admin sheet, 88B and council approved plans) to bank for their consent.. if you have mortgage on property.. it can take up to 2 weeks.
