Strata vs Torrens subdivision

Say I have a dual occupancy (a side by side duplex) - generally what are the requirements for subdivision? Do I have to meet double the minimum lot size for that council area, or do I simply have to meet the minimum lot size for dual occ + street frontage minimum?

Also what are the differences in requirements between Torrens and strata subdivision? sorry if these seem like homework questions but I've been reading for a while through DCP and LEP and coulnd't find a straight answer! hoping someone in the know could just tell me. Thank you!
