Sub dividing

I have a Duplex in regional NSW and am thinking of sub dividing them and turning them into strata title. What is the process in doing this? Also what would be the associated costs? What increased value could I expect?
 
You need to contact a surveyor in your area, they will know local council restrictions and tell you all you need to know including some idea of how much it's all going to cost.

As for increased value, that's for you to determine... it'll depend on what you plan to do with the blocks. Search on real estate for sale in your market, and compare similar properties for sale.
