Tree fell on our car!!!!

We were all inside on Monday morning around 7:30 am, slept in as it was warm and snug in bed and cold and windy and wet out, racing around trying to get the children dressed and fed and ready for school ... funny groan sound outside then this huge BANG.
We look outisde and a tree has fallen down. About 18 metres long, longer than our house, totally blocking the driveway, and landed on our (old not in use thank goodness) car. Crushed. Headcount, everyone is ok. Children get the morning off school. This was very scarey! It landed only a few metres from our house (fell parallel to the house).

How do I add a picture?
Ann.

wow sounds like a big tree! good thing it didnt hurt your family or house.

I went to my car once and found a massive limb had broken off at the base but had been stopped from falling on my car only by another branch about a 1/4 of its size. I very nervousily moved my car and managed to cut the limb up without it crushing my fence.

 Sorry, I cannot add any pictures as they are 101MB and the max size is 100mb ... next time we have a tree crush our car I 't try and adjust the camera settings before we take photos.
