UK Changing Rooms

I just saw a re-run of UK Changing Rooms, and I know the show is a little dated but has anyone actually seen how bad these design concepts are??

They just put laminate slate tiles on the walls, with big floral prints, and made a coffee table out of drinking glasses, as well as bordering the lounge room with pebbles like a zen garden..

DISGUSTING?

Do these people purposely make these places look crap just to make interesting tv???

Scary thing is ... there are property spruikers out there teaching people how to become millionaires in doing botchy jobs on renovations just like Changing Rooms... Looks like reality TV can breed anything ...
