Vic law for end of lease

I believe it is law in Vic, that after a lease runs out (no matter how long that lease was) the existing tenants dont have to sign another lease and can go month to month, with 2 months notice to vacate. Is that right?

The lease automatically rolls to a month to month lease.

The notice to vacate varies.

If you're talking about moving into the property then the notice period is 60 days, plus postage.
