A southerly wind change is expected within the next two hours.
When the wind change occurs the fire is likely to impact on you.

Evatuation Information:

If you are located in Bonang, Cabanandra, Deddick Valley, Dellicknora, Tubbut and Amboyne, it is strongly recommended that you evacuate and seek shelter at Delegate Relief Centre at the Delegate Country Club, Bonang Road, Delegate.
Turn on your vehicle headlights and drive slowly; smoke will make it difficult to see.
This advice is current to 09/02/14 5:30 PM, evacuation after this time is considered life threatening.
After 09/02/14 5:30 PM it may be too late to leave, take shelter when the fire arrives - protect yourself from the fire's heat.

Latest on Victorian bushfire - 8am Mon 10th Feb

At least 20 properties are thought to have been destroyed as 55 bushfires continue to burn across Victoria

The Mickleham Road fire has spread over 40km and now incorporates Kilmore, Kilmore East and Wallan

Thousands of hectares of bushland across the state and in the suburbs of Melbourne have also burned.

Houses also went up at Morwell in the Latrobe Valley.
Houses have been lost in Warrandyte, Gisborne, Mickleham and Morwell

Assets have been lost in Goongerah, Bonang and Deddick.

Explosions were heard near the Hazelwood power plant in the La Trobe Valley.

Authorities are still concerned about a fire in an open-cut coal mine in Morwell. This fire could burn for days. The open-cut mine is near Hazelwood power plant which supplies 25% electricity to Victoria.

Up to 30,000 Gippsland residents were without power overnight,

Melbourne's north and the Macedon Ranges are currently the hardest hit areas, with eight local fires prompting fire officials to issue Emergency Warnings to townships near Lancefield, Kilmore and Wallan.

FOUR Emergency Warnings remain in place north of Melbourne.

They are for Kilmore, Kilmore East, Forbes, Goldie, Goldie North, Tantaraboo, Willowmavin, Wallan, Darraweit Guim, Bylands, Chintin, Forbes and Springfield.


There are Watch and Act warnings for Glenaroua, High Camp, Moranding, Pyalong, Beveridge, Kalkallo, Mickleham and Clarkefield.

Was very very close to were we live. Very close.

Hope all is ok mate.

One of the big ones where the house got burnt was 2km from us, but we were seriously upwind (I mean like really strong wind) from it - the people down wind were evac'd though.
