Ways to avoid settelment after auction

Bought at an auction or on auction day after it passed? If so no cooling off period in NSW.

But it still may be possible to terminate the contract on a number of basis. e.g. disclosure of something may not have been done. a prescribed document may have been omitted from the contract for example a sewer diagram. s149 certificate may be out of date etc.

Friend of mine bought a property and the vendors wouldnt settle, it took 3 years in court and they were eventually forced to settle. Seems to me you are just adding more stress to a stressed marriage

is this possible: the bank won't let you sell as it needs it for security?

then you won't have to sell it but they might sue you...?

anyways im not sure so don't take my word for it.

unfortunately (or fortunately??) what the bank wants has nothing to do with the seller's commitments to others
