Web Domain Dilemma .net.au vs .com.au

Thanks for the feedback again guys. Very useful.

For what its worth this particular .com is really nothing special, despite what the seller is trying to suggest.

I could understand if it was self descriptive or an obvious play, but really it is just two separate names merged together totalling 11 letters.

I have had responses from the seller, although generally quickly dismissed. They described it as one of their super precious premiums lol.

Looking at the registry this seller is based in Italy and has owned this .com for about 14 years.

Ahh - I've seen plenty of domainers who believe their portfolio is ultra precious and won't part with a domain for less than a gazillion dollars :(

While I understand their desire to make money - I resent their unreasonable stance on selling a domain and the sheer volume of names which are effectively taken out of circulation by stubborn squatters who are looking for a windfall.
