Where do you recommend advertising House Swap?

Hi,
We were in Adelaide a year ago and would love to experience living there for about a year.
Could anyone recommend a place to advertise our house, e.g Adelaide newspaper or something as the House swap websites are mostly for just holidays e.g 2 - 4 weeks, but we were looking for something longer term.
Myself, partner and two children live in a nice house in Dublin, Ireland.
Can anyone offer any advice, thanks a million.

hi rubyslippers the local newspaper is called The Advertiser (http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/) 6 days a week and The Sunday Mail on the seventh. its the only newspaper in town and has a very very high penetration so an ad in there is always a good way to get the message out. now you can try their online classified ad placement tool (https://theadvertiser.adplacer.com.au/app) but it hasnt supported property related ads in the past so you may be best to call them

Try advertising in the local Messenger newspapers, there are 11 covering Adelaide. Pick the suburbs you are interested in and advertise in the relevant paper(s). I find that advertising in the Messenger gets better results as there are only a few pages of advertisements and everybody in your target area gets delivered a paper as it is free.
