I won division 3 (I think - had 5 numbers) of normal Lotto a few years back and was all excited thinking it was going to be like 20k or something. It was $300. Talk about an anti-climax

I'm sure the same discussion has been going on in a lot of forums around Australia.

The difference is that for many people (and I used to be in this category) winning Lotto is the only way they can see towards a comfortable retirement.

For many in here a win would be an extremely nice bonus- but they will still survive without it.
