you are only as old as the property you feel

Just read through the thread started by RPI last year about "how you got started"

Couldnt get over the comments by some of the posters on starting so late
eg 30-35

30-35 for the majority of people is when they get there life on track and start earning a credible income. It basically works out to be around the end of your first third of life. There is no need to put yourself down just because someone else discovered (awakened) the benefits of investing at a comparatively earlier age. Good on em I say!

Just be thankful that you are aware, and are starting to take action.
I bet it is whole lot more than what 97% of our parents did in chasing financial security/freedom.

cheers

True,

Most people don't maximise their earning capacity until their forties.

I don't believe that people should worry too much about building wealth until their mid-late 20s at earliest anyway - there's plenty of more important things to do with your 20s - learn about life, travel, discover your passions, experiment with relationships, etc.

Frankly whenever you feel the need to start investing is a good time.

Cheers,
