Carnegie is a great suburb, I'm biased as I grew up there though. However look at the development along the main shopping strips, library, new restaurants, train station etc. I'm looking at buying there amongst other areas, imo great spot. Has the lot, shops, public transport, schools etc...

Also adding, personally I wouldn't buy anything less than two bedrooms, not for 450k. That's a good budget for a 2br inner city apartment. Unless it's a large one bedroom with living space that you can make into a study/bedroom. Recently missed out on a nice looking place in St Kilda like...

I would ask the pm to make an application to the tribunal for a possesion order just in case she does not vacate on the date stipulated. She can't refuse the 120 day notice.

Fish may seem harmless, however the weight of the tanks should be considered. Anything over 4ft and you need to consider re-enforcing your floor. Most landlords miss that one. :cool:
