    What areas in Melbourne are good value at the moment?

    What are the thoughts about 1bedder inner city properties. I figure the capital gains might not be great on these smaller properties but the rental gains seem pretty solid. Also just for personal use I'd like to always have a place in the inner city that I can fall back on.

    Ended up making the transition so far seems good. Personally I think negative gearing is a better tax solution but for this employee it worked quite well. Had to feel our way through it a bit though.
