Valuations - hmm since I started this thread back around Feb I've picked up 80k on 1 property on a bank valuation. It's still a high demand area although it's expensive to get a foot in you can still find properties that will work for you.

I like Caboolture for it's proximity to the Sunshine Coast. 30 mins one way you have Brisbane and 40 the other the beach. Not to mention Bribie Is.

Often with sites that work and don't work it lies in what most people don't see - Good design, promotion & marketing, SEO and the engine that binds the whole show together - google for example looks quite basic from the users side and few people would know or even care about what drives the...

You are right if the site is good enough word will spread :D It seems to work quite well on our USA version of the site - Agents / Sellers are making good use of it now. It's free so extra exposure never hurts anyone -

Global oil prices are on the way up yet again! How much does this shake up the property market, I mean at the low end every dollar counts. It's hard enough for people to break in as things stand. Amazing that every single inquiry into fuel prices turns up nothing.... :eek:

Good question - We will first work on getting the site established and then consider the revenue model. It will be some type of advertising as we don't have plans to charge for ads placed on the site. It's more important to deliver the service first and think about the money later.

No I do know the area very well I have property there. I also know quite a few agents around the area and things are buzzing right now. I do own the site yes.

We are only just getting started in SE QLD - 100% Free site for both agents and private sellers. We do run Australia wide but our focus for the first few months will be QLD.

Buderim on the Sunshine Coast is pretty hot right now, there is a lot of high end stuff on the market but if you look down the north side there are a lot of big blocks and pretty soon the new access is going to open up into the Maroochy CBD. Prices start from mid 300,000's I still don't think...

I've heard some talk of this also - I deal with quite a few agents who are all reporting great sales numbers so I think they will be chasing the stock!
