286sqm land in Brisbane - is this legal?

I thought the min size was 405sqm, especially since it's not within spitting distance of shops etc.

Its 312sqm and surrounded by houses on blocks from 300-450+ so I dont think they could have developed a number of streets worth of blocks without the council noticing.

Yes it is. Many new estates up here in general are starting to go that small. The smallest I've seen is in a Stockland Development 187sqm. Yes one hundred and eighty seven square metres of land. And I'm pretty sure you are only allowed 60% coverage. 112.2sqm footprint.

Really at that point they should be building terraces to maximize the land.
