Advice where to buy Limit $300000.00

Looking to purchase 2nd IP have $300000.00 to spend, any suggestions looking at buying in either Melbourne Metro (Western suburbs) Gold Coast or Geelong

Any one got thoughts or preferences?

Very difficult with 300k budget...unless you buy in outer regions of Victoria or NSW.
You may be able to find something outer West of Melbourne (Werribee, hoppers crossing, Wyndhamvale for that price)

$300 k would get you a 3 to 4 bedder in outer suburbs of both Sydney and Melbourne.

Search the posts here for Melton and Mount Druitt / Penrith.

What deposit do you have or the bank will allow 300k. Let's take away 30k for stamp duty and fees. For 270k have a look around corio, newcomb and bridgwater in Geelong and also Melton.

I would try for Frankston. You can still pick houses in this area around 300k. You would then need to had duties and other exp on.

Demographics change as the demand to live in affordable beach side suburb grow.

Government investments, marina, roads strong local economy, not to mention other attributes that the region offers.
