Alternative financing strategies

    Hi All,

    For those who have reasonable cash (eg 20% - 30%) deposits but find it difficult to get sufficient borrow out of banks with new lending criteria what alternative financing strategies are a good idea? Eg have any people looked at using 20% equity, eg 50% traditional bank finance and 30% other types of debt finance? Then when you can get sufficient bank finance you can pay back the remaining 30%. Are there other types of lenders that are more lenient providing reasonably priced finance?

    That would only make it harder to qualify for bank financing.
