Any insulation experts out there?

So I have reroofed a 70sqm building - Sydney.
Flat roof, and I put Aircell under the new, white Cliplock.
I'll be doing a ceiling next.
I have enough space for bulk insulation, or Foilboard.
Any advice?

Cheapest and best:
Supply R4.0 batts for the ceiling fixer to install when he does the ceilings. Don't let him supply, he will charge a huge premium. Should only charge an extra $2m2 odd for the install of insulation on top of the ceiling rate.

Since you've already put in the aircell product, I wouldn't see a need for additional foil with the boards, so just go with the >= R4.0 bulk insulation.

I think glass batts (aka. Pink Batts) are banned in NSW, so you'll have to get the slightly more expensive stuff.

Are you sure? I saw a Bunnings advert for glass batts last night on Sydney tv.

Bunnings sell Earthwool (and other brands of bulk stuff). Not sure if any of the other stuff is glass.

While I prefer installing aircell when doing roofs (not itchy), it doesn't have the soundproofing qualities the anticon blanket has in fact it has a few draw backs. I would consider using bulk if you want to cut down on sound.

Sound isn't an issue. It's heat/cold.
