I'm thinking of doing a few days of detox. I need a new blender, what's your recommendations for a good quality blender? Easy cleaning must be one of the features. Also a good strong motor.

I use a thermomix for all of my 'weird' juices. They aren't exclusively a blender - they do all sorts of amazing things. They are quite expensive brand new though.

I have a Thermomix too but it's not really a juicer - good for smoothies though.

For a juicer I have a whizz bang Hurom slow pressing one - supposed to be better.

For cheap and cheerful though the Breville is supposed to be very good and is recommended by heaps of juicing sites.

The Hurom looks the business how do you find it? Does it do what the bumf says ? How's the cleaning of it?

It makes great juice.
Cleaning is pretty easy - you generally just run the bowl and seivy thing under water after juicing - and they are clean.
My favourite good for you juice is kale, apple, celery and cucumber. You feel zingy and virtuous after drinking it
