it has some interesting case examples which i find really educational such as the one about a millionaire renovator and some other cases where they kept listing for astronomical prices and 1 month, 3 month, 6 months the listing price dropped and still was unsold.


it also shows a property is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay. all these self proclaimed millionaires in equity only. then again most of the examples were in WA. so it is very micro approach.
 
Interesting. Renovating 2mil+ house and looking to flip is a pretty agro play… but I guess if you got the capital why not? Did she buy cash? I could imagine the holding costs of this project, she wouldn’t be getting any rent either. Anyway I’d prefer to renovate a 600k apartment in Armadale / hawthorn etc because the demand is there.
