M mr-ed 13th Dec, 2007 #1 My PM contacted me today, informing me that the balcony door of my unit, is in urgent need of repair. Seems to be very unstable... PM contacted Body Corp Manager. He is not interested, saying that it is not a the landlords problem. Any opinions? Ed

yo yo ma 13th Dec, 2007 #2 If the door gets used by people in the building other than your tenant (ie it is on common property), the the BC should look after it. If the door gets used only by the tenant, it is the responsibility of the landlord (you).
