We are looking for a nice place for an 85th Birthday lunch (not mine ) in late April.
The Broncos has been booked for lunch, but I'd rather stick needles in my eyes than go there and battle it out with the unwashed . There are a few in the family who are suggesting Broncos is not the right atmosphere for a birthday lunch (and I agree completely).
We called the Summit Restaurant Mt Coot-tha, but their prices have gone up since our last fixed price dinner there, and they only offer a three course meal costing something like $60 per head.
I think Broncos is about $25(ish) for a buffet, and I'm wondering if anybody has any good ideas for either a nicer buffet (does that even exist?) or a reasonably priced sit down dinner somewhere, keeping it to about $25 per head.
We prefer to stay away from the city, and easy access from both sides of the river and easy parking are "must haves".
Any ideas?
