What does everyone think of the east of Brisbane? I'm thinking of buying in the Bullimba/Morningside area.

Liking the prospects of the inner eastern areas on the south side, but you're probably going to need a budget larger than $450k if you're looking at houses.

yup...great areas those inner east. Expensive though - id look at neighbouring suburbs which can be a lot cheaper.

Thanks guys, yeah from the limited research I've done houses seem to start at around $550k in Morningside which is about our budget.
