Building inspections in northern Melbourne

Hi Guys,

I need a building inspection done as part of a prospective purchase in the Bundoora area. Anyone know of a good business or individual that they would recommend?

The last building inspection I had done was in 2000 and although the building report was in template form (pre-set comments on many aspects of the building) the guy who did it offered good advice and information which allowed me a bit more confidence when dealing with tradies and quotes. He's no longer around (moved to the country) and I need someone else.

Your recommendations would be gratefully received.

PS: Would be handy if you also have experience of a reliable pest-inspection service as well.

A little while since you posted, but thought I would help out anyway.

In terms of building inspections, Kevin Jennings comes highly recommended. He's in Coburg.

Kevin Jennings also does pest inspections, but if you want a separate pest inspection company Meridian Pest Management are reputable and deliver quality reports..
