Buying from Amazon.com etc (online purchase)

Not too tech savvy here (ie been to the work xmas party).

How do you get Amazon or other overseas websites to deliver to Australia when they say they cannot deliver to the area?

I have heard of places in the USA which accept and forward your purchases - "Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) Addresses". How do you do it?

I use myus.com
It costs to join and they offer a parcel receival service and will then send on your parcels to you. You can receive multiple parcels and then they consolidate them and send one parcel to you.

There is also hopshopgo which is owned by Paypal

Be aware though, if whatever you have forwarded is damaged in the mail, you're likely to be uninsured.

I use Bongo for both US and UK purchases.

Good service, but they are not cheap.

Some items on Amazon you can't ship to Australia so you need a re-shipper.

With some re-shippers they are in States which have sales tax so there is a extra charge to send your goods there but as many places offer free shipping around USA it kind of evens out.
