Buying in Brisbane Metro, around 350k

Hi All,

I'm from Victoria and planning to buy an IP in Brisbane Metro. I haven't been to Brisbane before and would like to ask which suburb in Brisbane Metro that suit our budget & requirement.

Typically, the IP that I'm looking for:
1. Around 350k bracket
2. Would like to buy between 2-12 km from Brisbane CBD
3. Would like to have house, townhouse, villa and unit (but not apartment).

Can someone advise which suburb that I should be looking?
My strategy is to buy and hold (for maybe 10-20 years), without doing any development/subdivide.

Thanks in advance.

I have a request from a friend for just about identical

Brisbane suburbs, inner city a possible

350k max
Prefer house
Max 15 years old, the newer the better

Not likely to find a house that close to CBD for that price, unit or townhouse no problems. Try Acacia Ridge which is 15km from CBD, good facilities, neighbor suburb Sunnybank Hills where most homes go for 500k plus, only negative its a lower socio economic area with heaps of housing commission homes, however can still get houses easily under 350k try to buy non housing commision. I made 50k in 12 months on a house there, was cash flow positive from day 1 also.

increase your $ or reduce the need to a townhouse.

350 wont get u much Brisbane middle ring house.

Entry level housing IP for Brissie is now close to 400
