Hi there,

Could anyone point me to research or statistics on the average capital growth rate of property over the last 50 or so years on the Sunshine Coast, Qld or Qld in general? For projections on a block of beachfront land at Mount Coolum, Qld.

Where you looking at Liz, Boardwalk? That whole areas been down 15-20% from its peak and only just starting to recover from a flatline last 6 months. Possibly not a bad long term buy if you can pick something up for below replacement cost. All the new properties there should still very much be below cost...
