Carport style choices...

Hi All
Can anyone offer some suggestions on which style double carport that would suit my rental property? Preferably something that will last long (not fade, rust) whilist not overcapitalising.

What shape would match this 70's house in Morley? a flat, dome, hip end, gable? Any suggestions for colour?

I am probably looking to install gutters that just drain to the road. Is this worth the extra cost?

Also If you can recommend some companies to get quotes that would be great.

note: The house now has the inner circle of the curved driveway filled in with concrete.

Mimic the roof style is best I think

Do not do dome or flat

Stratco do a pretty good basic range :)

Are you building behind? Get your builder to do a quote - it might end up being quite competitive than getting a seperate trade to do the garage.

Thanks myf. I built behind last year. Always great advice

The garage has been removed due to subdivision. New PM thinks it would help get a higher rent plus it's tax deductible

Should I match the green roof colour? Gable should be cheaper than hip

How much more rent? A double garage with pitched roof1 will cost you at least 10k imo, probably more. I doubt you will get any more than 30/wk more for what looks like an average 3x1 in the area. Will take you over 6 years to pay off.
