Buying next to a cemetery is a dead cert.

But seriously, there is quite a bit of new development around Rookwood Cemetery (Sydney), prices aren't too bad either.

if you are already questioning this risk with the basis of "some really good numbers" it would probably not be worth it and it will be a constant worry for you during ownership

there are plenty of deals out there that have some great numbers without something as controversial as being directly next to a cemetery - move on, keep looking!

Thanks for all the replies guys. After much deliberation we have decided against it. There were too many "ummms" about it for me to be confident enough in going ahead.
