The most she could give back is 30k over 5 years, otherwise they assume that she still has it

Yes I hit the wrong button.

It should be a comment on "Can I move debt off my home onto IP".

People on a pension have to be careful on receiving money & assets and disposing of money & assets. Centrelink can be cut throat in their interpretation of the rules. They will reduce or stop pension first and ask questions later.
